My PGA Academy Journey - Joshua Pelser
Looking back on the past three years studying for my PGA qualification, I feel incredibly grateful for the journey I’ve been on — both professionally and personally.
The PGA program pushed me to develop not only my knowledge of the game but also my skills as a coach, a player, and a professional in the golf industry.

Balancing my studies with playing and coaching wasn’t always easy, but it shaped me into who I am today. I learned about sports science, business management, coaching methods, and of course, deepened my technical understanding of the golf swing. But beyond the textbooks and assignments, the most valuable lessons came from the people I met, the players I worked with, and the challenges I overcame.
Now, having completed my PGA studies and made the exciting move to work in the United States, I can see how everything has come together. I’m fortunate to be working in an environment where I can apply what I’ve learned, continue to grow, and help others improve their game.
Golf has given me incredible opportunities — from playing competitively to building relationships all over the world. The last three years were a stepping stone, and I’m excited for what lies ahead in this next chapter of my career.
